19 October - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from rainy Green Bay, Wisconsin. Yes, we got rain. We have puddles, so it was more than a spit from the clouds.
Today was a good day, but a day I realized I needed to start actively writing things down and getting things on the calendar. I can no longer rely on my memory. I missed my hair appointment today. I have it rescheduled for Tuesday. I wrote it down.
I'm thankful for the sleep I got last night. I got up at 4:30 this morning with 6.5 hours of sleep.
I'm thankful I have the notifications finished. It was fun seeing what you're doing in your world.
I'm thankful for the information I got on the book signing in two weeks. I filled out the form and e-mailed it back to them.
I'm thankful for the exercise I got today. Not an exercise day, but I went down and used the bike and put in five miles on it before Canasta.
I'm thankful for Canasta. We played two games. We had partners and two tables of four. We each won one game. The second game was close. It could have gone either way on the last hand.

I'm thankful things seemed to be going well. I still have the dish washer to start, but I do have the laundry done. Chilly slowed me down by insisting on a game of race through the house. So, that wasn't fun (for us) Chilly on the other hand enjoyed it until George caught him. So, that was fun.

A book signing! How fun and exciting! Congrats. I'm thankful for a peaceful and somewhat lazy day. My neighbor is mowing his lawn like its late May. Crazy. I admit that my grass has grown a lot since the night dew has started up again.

Yes, it will be exciting. When I contacted them yesterday to let them know I would be there, he told me there were 52 authors signed up for it. It will be a fun day. I'll be taking five of each book with me, forty books. I hope I do well.

I write most things down anymore. I went to the store Wednesday morning, with a list, and still forgot something written on it. 
So tomorrow when I done working at the church I'll stop by and pick it up.
I am thankful the my stuffed peppers came out as good as they did. It's been a long time since I last made them. Mike said not to wait so long in between next time, so that made me happy that he enjoyed them too.

@just4him Thank you. Unfortunately I want to publish a picture book (done in rhyme); and I would need to have it illustrated...very expensive.

That's all good to hear, well except the memory thing...but that happens. That's good that you wrote the next one down. I have to have them written down too or I would forget.
