Ending the month

This is a cooking weekend. The weather is cool and it feels good to have yummy food in process. I made rice pudding, and a Reuben casserole. I will also make a runza casserole. We have had rain for a couple of days and that is a good thing. The water levels in the lake and reservoir have been very low. Now it is cold so we are having ice a bit. The cats went out anyway. Bob and I shall take a Sunday afternoon nap here real soon.

I woke up not too long ago and thought it was Monday morning but couldn't figure out why it looked like daylight at 4 am... Silly me, it was 4 pm. It's storming again here... four days in a row now. And tomorrow is my phone hearing... I'm nervous as all get out.

Yes, we needed the rain too. I can’t believe I turned on the heater. I used to only do that in January. I’m getting wimpy, Heather!

No rain in my area today but the weather report does mention that some rain is coming to my area tomorrow even though it will be light rain.

I feel like having a nap right now, too. Spent the day puttering around, redoing the plastic on a back window, cleaning up some clutter. I bought some rice pudding yesterday. Maybe I'll have some now.

Reuben casserole sounds interesting. I haven't had a Reuben sandwich in ages but always liked them. It has been chilly here lately.

I don't actually cook but I do like to throw things together to make a soup every day, not a lot of soup though, just enough for one meal for me.
