Whose birthday was the last you celebrated?

Today is a special lady’s 70th birthday, and it is hard for me to believe she is seventy. Diana, my stepmother, has a birthday today. Her daughter and granddaughter are coming to visit tomorrow to take her to lunch, and then go to a cake decorating class. Every year for her birthday they try to do a new, fun activity to celebrate. My dad is taking her out today, and I gave her her card and gift already.
She’s been a blessing. Her church camp used to go to the same church camp our church (from when I was 4 to 16) went to. So we didn’t see her much, but I always knew she was a sweet person. She’s been through a lot in life, and I think she looks at my dad like the pot of gold at the end up of the proverbial rainbow. 
My mom was four years younger than my dad, but Diana is actually a year and a half older than him. I told him when he married her he was the only guy I know whose wife had died, and he ended up marrying an older woman.

@AmbiePam Most of the time I feel young but the last few days I feel old... I told Pretty yesterday that I felt old and she told me I was just sick and not to worry about it.

@AmbiePam This is my sister’s and I exactly 2 years ago. The 45 year old has the red hair, the one in the middle will be 58 in March .

She is a very lucky lady to have the family that she does and to have married into your family on top of that.
Our last birthdays were in late September when we celebrated our son and daughter-in-law's birthdays.
They are only a week apart so doing them together has always been such fun.
The twin's birthday is the very end of January, I look forward to that.
Our son took them both to see the doctor this week, as they were feeling under the weather.
The doctor looked at our son and asked him if they had a cough, and Willow spoke up and answered 'yes' after that the doctor relaized that he had to ask both the girls as well as Daddy the questions, he was not dealing with babies.

Those are great birthdays to be able to celebrate!
I think Diana is looking forward to see her daughter and granddaughter. After living in the same town their whole lives, Diana moved an hour and a half way when she married my dad. She misses them.

The last birthday we celebrated was my oldest daughters in October but next week we'll be celebrating my son in law when we're all together for Thanksgiving.

Wishing your step mother a very happy birthday and many happy returns of the day. I celebrated my elder son's birthday at home last year. This year he can't come home on his birthday so I send him a gift.

Happy birthday to her, sounds like a lovely lady...hope it is a good birthday for her. Last birthday celebrated her was mine, 10 days ago. Would have been my grandpa's if he hadn't passed just before....his birthday was 2 days after mine.

@AmbiePam oh it definitely will be, and you're welcome. We let Eli pick our lunch today, it was McDonald's lol.
He enjoyed getting a Happy Meal. We'll be doing more to celebrate tomorrow.
