December Buffett Buffet: Come Monday

Today is the first day in the monthlong look at my favorite songs by Jimmy Buffett where you might say “Oh, yeah, I know that one.” It’s “big top 40 hit” time on the list! Oh, and Linda? NO!!!! Here we go!
Come Monday
Let’s go back to 1973 in Daytona Beach, Florida, and a low-power country music radio station called WELE. That station introduced me to Jimmy Buffett. They played a song that’ll be along later on in the countdown, and they played this one.
When the Eagles did a tribute to Buffett during their concert in New York City this was one of the two songs they did. (The other was “Fins.”) It’s an important step in the career of the Mayor of Margaritaville.

Love me some Buffett.
His plane is up for sale, and I'm telling you if money wasn't a problem and I had all the money, that plane would be mine and I would be getting pilot license.
