White stuff is falling and there's already about 2-3 inches on the ground. Our first snow storm. Forecast says it's going to last overnight and into tomorrow. It does look pretty but it's 99% certain at this time that our family gathering will be postponed again. We did our grocery shopping yesterday so we're stocked and ready to hibernate for a day or so. Guess it's going to be a night for a good movie. Hope if you're in the path of this storm it doesn't get bad where you are.

I imagine that most people in the wake of this kind of winter are more or less prepared for it, right? I havent lived in an area that got 4 seasons since I was 9.

I am not keen on snow pretty or not. It is ok if you do not have to go out in it & can stay in the warm! Happy New Year to you!

@Marilynda1225 I am not a person that likes snow. I grew up with it and thought winter would never end in the midwest where I grew up. It finally did and I am so glad that winters are milder here in Jerusalem and that we rarely get snow and so glad of it.

I haven't checked our weather for Indiana but I'm pretty sure we'll get SOMETHING off this I just hope we don't get anything Monday when I have to go see my sugar Dr so I can get this on track & get it where it doesn't bounce all over the place, we spent 300$ on food the other day.

You talking about it makes me wish for the days when I was a kid, and we’d get snowed in with our parents maybe once a winter. I’d love to be back with them, just watching movies and laughing. I hate that your get together was postponed, but I’m glad to hear you won’t be stranded without supplies. Be safe!

The more I read about snow, the happier I am that it doesn't occur here. I used to be really envious of those who lived where it snowed but I've completely changed my mind.
