We got some snow over the weekend. My pup was pretty happy. It is supposed to warm here too. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

I love watching pups play in the snow. They certainly enjoy themselves. Looks like we have a week of bad weather coming up. Today is snow, rain and very windy.

I can understand you're not being happy with Mother Nature. She gave you at least six inches, so you didn't need to shovel. If it were me, I'd keep the decorations up until you could get together. I remember the year my mother had bronchitis for Christmas, and they scheduled it for January. They left the decorations in place until we could get together. It was the best Christmas as a family I can remember. Here's a picture. This is Mom and Dad.

That's a really nice picture of your mom and dad. You look like your mom. I remember hearing a story when I was growing up that my grandparents left their tree up until my uncle came home from the army. (which was months after Christmas). Since I have no idea when we'll be able to get together due to the kids going back to college and everyones work schedules etc it just doesn't make sense for me to leave it all up.

So sorry your family could not get together..but I understand..snow is dangerous.. It is blizzard like and already snowing here and 20F, lots of police sirens, lots of accidents out here on the highway. Have a good day then Marilyn.

I wouldn't want my family on the roads during a snow storm. Even if we have to wait until the spring Winter is a hard time to plan anything when the weather determines it all. I'm not surprised you're hearing sirens. People drive like jerks in bad weather

I am sad for you and for your family that you had to postpone the gathering again. It reminds me of the year we celebrated Christmas in February. It was really hard on us, especially my hubs and I as we are older and the tradition is stronger. We are expecting the nasty winter storm to begin early tomorrow morning as rain, then it will freeze, and then we will have the 'pleasure' of getting snow, as well high winds and wind chill factors on top of that. I just got my Christmas present from our son, it was a nice digital picture frame. I really love it. I have to set music to it yet, but I have some photos loaded already.

I love those digital picture frames. I have one that I got a few years ago and it's great to look back and see the grandkids when they were younger. I'm sure you'll enjoy yours. Today we have early morning light snow which is turning to heavy rain and high winds. Another miserable day weatherwise.

I've gotten some of the house decorations taken down but still haven't done anything about the tree. I still love seeing it lit and I hate to take it down.
