I made friends with one of my shoppers some months ago (I don´t know if I told you).
Today, the sweet girl took me to the drugstore to get my pain pills. I then bought some ice cream and chantilly cream and invited her for a while.
I offered her to stay for lunch but she had to depend on the needs of people in need of food so she declined. I had thought of serving rice and heating some chicken. But as she did not come I only ate cold chicken with mayo and some grapes I had also bought.
Temperature here is much too hot. If I weren´t so lazy and richer, I´d take 3 or 4 showers a day. And I´m washing sheets because I simply need fresh sheets every day.
Now, as soon as I fishe this post, I will spray myself with baby lotion I bought. It helps a bit for a while. I hope I don´t smell like a baby´s butt

I think your post summed up why they do not want more people to be richer. They are the biggest climate threats,. That being said dinner sounds good. Her loss.

I´m sure that we could make a change in climate if we all tried. In this right moment, there is a huge bonfire in the Atacama desert. People take there the clothes that stores have not been able to sell. And now they are burning them to take more. Retailers buy containers full of clothes from China and make the money they want if they only sell a few garments. The rest is garbage.

@crossbones27 I can´t understand why those garments are burnt while some peoplle don´t have clothes. The same thing happens with food everywhere.

The lotion is very fresh. But only for a while. It is much too hot here now. Nothing really helps.

When the weather gets really warm here in Florida I rub myself with cornstarch powder and then I have a fan I let blow on me as I sleep. Right now we are getting colder nights again and I have my front room warm with the heater, I hope you have a good start to the new week,
