An 11 year old girl whose name was not released to the public had been inside a locked bathroom in a park in Wimauma Florida on Friday evening in an apartment complex park when a neighbor drove her their home to the apartment complex where she was let go to return home. Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office Deputy Sarah Ernstes who brought along her K9 dog Mary Lu were able to locate the whereabouts of the young child who locked herself inside of the bathroom door. The police officer was able to convince the young girl to unlock the door so she could be rescued by the police officer and safely return to her relatives safe and sound, Why would the young girl lock herself inside of a bathroom at the park of the apartment complex is not known. Maybe that was smart of her to lock herself in to feel safe.

That is what I am thinking that maybe the girl was scared of someone chasing her in the apartment complex.

I have a feeling that the young girl was inside the bathroom against her will.

Sounds like something is fishy in this story.

It sounds like social workers need to get involved with that kiddo.

That is what I am thinking that either the girl was being chased by a stranger or she just got scared being stuck in the bathroom.

I'm glad she was found; but I'm concerned why she felt she had to lock herself in the bathroom?

That is what I am wondering how the girl got locked up inside of the bathroom myself.

Something doesn't sound right. I hope the girl is all right going back to her relatives.

It was good that that dog could smell out where the girl was despite the smells of the toilet there too. They really do have a good sense of smell.
