The Auburn Police Department (APD) in Massachusetts answered an emergency call from the relatives of a 12 year old child whose name and gender was not released to the public was missing on Wednesday evening a week ago.
The APD as well as the Massachusetts State Police, detectives and a K9 Unit searched the Pakachoag Hill area to locate the missing child.
APD Police Officer David Ljunggren and his K9 partner Biza who is a female German Shepherd were able to locate the missing child in an area over two miles from the home where the missing child was located safe and sound despite the cold weather outside.
The child was reunited with his or her relatives the same evening two hours later than the time the child was reported missing.

Using a dog would aid in the finding of the child, as otherwise, they would have had to search a whole lot more, all over. A dog can certainly sniff things out, better than any human can do so.
