Interesting statistics on the Swagbucks Daily Poll. Question about what people have planned for Valentine's Day. 26% of participants don't celebrate Valentine's Day while 23% cook together at home and enjoy a quiet evening. 14% go away to a quaint hotel for a long weekend. 5% are going to a movie or play and, 4% are going to the city for dinner and shopping. Where do your plans fall? 12% was 'other'. That would be me. What about yourself?
The picture is from my collection.

We did not particularly celebrate Valentine's Day in Latvia but we would sit together and light scented candles and have some cocktails, To the time when my husband passed we still walked everywhere hand in hand,

I said pther. I am NOT going to the city for anybody, no matter how much I love them- Tacoma and Seattle driving is just not me. Last week hubby went shopping with a friend and took something upstairs and hid it. That is romance to me.

I hate those busy freeways and such. Not for me either. So there is a surprise coming?

@celticeagle It looks like a surprise is coming. Last year he gave me a huge heart shaped box of chocolates.

@LadyDuck ......I think there should be a bit of a division there too. Is that my European flare coming out?

@celticeagle Here in Europe Valentine's day is "only" the celebration of love between couples, this does not include kids, friends, parents and so on.

We don't celebrate Valentine's Day; but with hubby in the hospital anyway, we definitely won't be doing anything. Have a good weekend.
