Dad's in the Hospital

It must be an emergency procedure, but he went in for a stent at 6am this morning, and I knew he was waiting to be healthy enough to have it done, which is why I think it is an emergency procedure.
He said last night he had a "bad spell," and I am assuming he must have went into the hospital.
I was unaware.
He's had several stents in the past and he has a really bad heart. He's had at least three heart attacks, and since the last episode he was walking around 98% blocked. So, like I said, we were just waiting for him to be healthy enough to get a stent done—bypass is not an option.
He is 74.

My prayers are with you and him. I’m sorry he’s not “healthy enough” to get what he needs to improve his health.

Wishing your Dad all the best with his procedure. Saying prayers and sending postive vibes his way. I had bypass surgery 6 years ago after having a heart attack.

@porwest Aw man Jim, I’m sorry to hear that. Is he in good spirits and doing okay despite the circumstances?

@moffittjc Always. He's got quite the sense of humor. Probably where I get most of mine from. He talked about being opened up like a can of tuna and telling the doctor to make sure he's got the jumper cables handy to restart his heart. lol

Sending very best wishes for the health of your father. It's worrying when your parents aren't well. Does he live a long way away?

I know that in some cases it is more dangerous to do than not to do. I hope he will get better.
