Covid is on the Run

Today, my doctor prescribed me a cough expectorant, Tessalon. At night, I wake up coughing like crazy and then, have trouble getting back to sleep.
Jay had this problem for a few nights, but now he's on the mends. Every day, he seems to be feeling somewhat better. If I ask how he's feeling my husband sicks his arm in front of me. Then he replies, "Feel my arm, how am I feeling?"
Yes, he has a great sense of humor, even when he's sick:)
If I wake up coughing tonight, I'll take one of those caplets Tawn prescribed. I too will get a handle on this destructive virus! I'm sick of being sick

@kobesbuddy I've been feeling awful and coughing like crazy...I had the Covid shots but now I'm wondering if I might be suffering from a mild case of it. I usually and up and going like crazy and now I'm just lazing and taking things really easy....

@kobesbuddy Thank God for that. I had tons of problems with Covid. My poor hubby got hit with both barrels.

@kobesbuddy "A semi-truck had hit me." Exactly. I felt like that for over two weeks. Then semi felt like that for another two weeks. Hubby was slugged even harder. Horrible.

@sallypup Jay was very sick for two days. He just slept and relaxed, took some antihistamines. Now, he's doing better each day. I developed symptoms about five days later and felt like a semi-truck had hit me. Today, my cough isn't too bad.

@kobesbuddy Really? The sickest I ever felt was when I had Pleurisy one year. Every breath I took was like being stabbed with a knife. I also felt really pretty sick when I had a kidney infection.a few years ago. I was crazy not to go to the doctor. That can be deadly..although I didn't, know that at the time. I really wasn't sure what was going on.

@snowy22315 One time as a child, I had food poisoning and asked my mother if I was dying! My son had pleurisy and screamed that he was having a heart attack(Chad was 18 years old).

I hope the medico helps you, Kharla. I know that it seems Covid lingers for a long time. Rest is the best thing so be lazy and take care of yourself!

The first week was terrible, I couldn't do anything. When I got up, I'd stagger around. So, it was obvious I had to lay back down. My doctor responded right away. She has another outbreak of Covid to take care of.
There's another string that popped its ugly head up!

The cough medication is a pill, to take at bedtime. Then, I won't wake up choking every night.
