Puppy dog rescued by animal rescuers on a Boston highway ramp

Thanks to the concern of a resident saw a small female Chihuahua dog who was seen running on the Interstate 93 on Sunday highway ramp, the concerned citizen managed to catch the 10 week old dog from getting hit by a motorist to the Pine Street Inn before she was taken by officials employed by the Boston Animal Control.
The dog was then taken to the ARL Boston's Animal Care And Adoption Center where the puppy who is named Sparkle was found to be in good health.
The good news is that Joe Chafins who is employed at the Pine Street Inn was told by one his co-workers about the dog visited the place.
Joe and his wife adopted Sparkles on Sunday. Sparkles now has a new home thanks to the actions of the motorist who took the time to pick up a dog lost on the streets of Boston.

Did someone just let her out on the highway? Some people should not have animals. Sparkle is a great name. Hope this is a forever home.

That is a good question since it appears that Sparkles was on the highway ramp for about a few days.

I hope that they made an effort to try to find the real owner too, as perhaps, they might be missing their little dog, which are not cheap to buy, these days too.
