Cruise countdown!

I have a list three pages long of things to pack and a to do list before we go.
On the medical list I had my three month Botox injections for Migraines on Thursday, but had a horrible headache last night (???)
My dermatologist removed some more tissue on my back for the Squamous cell and is positive she got it all. Path report soon.
Hoping to get the injection in my spine soon so I can walk with less pain on the cruise.
Wednesday I'm getting the port surgically removed from my chest which will be wonderful. I wish they didn't have to put me to sleep to remove it, though.
All that's cutting it close to cruise departure (13 days!)
I always over pack for any trip, but I like to be prepared, lol.
Oh, I almost forgot, we have our 58th wedding anniversary next week, too. We'll just go to a nice steakhouse to celebrate.

First of all, congratulations on your upcoming anniversary. I hope you can get all your medical issues addressed before your surgery. You pack like I do...you never know when you might need something!! Have a good week.

Hey Linda, I went for the eval at the pain clinic and while we were there, they went ahead and gave me the epidural! Hoping to see some improvement soon.
How's your hubby...what's the latest info? Still praying for both of you!

@LindaOHio Sure hope your husband will be able to transfer to a regular room soon and can get his AFIB straight.
The lumbar epidural seems to be helping. We did a little shopping yesterday and I didn't hurt for the first time in a long time. But last night I hurt.
I had my chemo port removed this morning and it went well. Maybe, Lord willing, this will be the last medical event before the cruise!

@1creekgirl Do you notice anything from the shot? It should last you 6 months. I hate getting them though. Hubby is still in ICU. Should be transferred to a regular room soon. His blood pressure is stabilized. Still working on his AFIB.

@1creekgirl I bet that injection will do some magic and hope it does.
My dad is back at home as of Monday. His only complaint so far is a little more pain since they didn't give him a lot of pain medication. But he seems to be in good spirits nonetheless.

It was more stressful than restful, lol, but definitely blessed. I was able to get the back injection today!

I may not make tip top, but maybe tip anyway, lol. I finished my physical therapy, got my lumbar epidural today, and scheduled for surgery Wednesday to remove that port. Oh, and got the second tissue removal for that squamous cell skin cancer. The surgeon assured me she got it all before it spread, so that's a big blessing. Hope you guys are doing well?

You be careful on that..don't eat anything you think you shouldn't. I think you might want to wear a mask too. Even if you had to use a wheelchair on occasion, it might not be the worst thing in the world. Sometimes it seems even healthy people can end up getting sick, so you really need to watch it big time.

Thanks, we'll enjoy a nice dinner to celebrate 58. Then, Lord willing, we'll leave for Charleston for the cruise three days later.

58th anniversary?? My very best congratulations to you both. We're by 53 in September. My parents got to 63 years but I don't think we'll make another ten years. But you never know.

It will be nice for you to get away. I always overpack too fearing I will forget something. Lists are a great idea. 58 years..that is wonderful. Thst is definitely worth a celebratiion at the streakhouse.
