Back from visiting my mother-in-law

The rain stopped so we decided to go out and visit my mother-mother-in-law. She was feeling kind of lonely so I am glad we decided to go. She was so happy to see us. It was a nice visit. She told us that she fell on the ice the other day and bumped her head. Her grand daughter took her to the hospital to get checked out. They did an MRI and everything came back fine. She said she is still quite sore but feeling much better.
After we left there we stopped at the dollar store on the way home and picked up a few odds and ends. We really didn't need much but we ended up spending $60.
Laundry is almost done and the shepards pie preparation has become. I can't believe another weekend is almost over. Where does the time go?

@Happy2BeMe We are thinking about Sault Ste. Marie, up on Lake Superior.
We love rides, and we would take the long way there which is through Canada.

Weekends go by quickly and quicker for those of you who have to work on Mondays. I'm glad your MIL is okay after falling and hitting her head. I'm sure she was very happy to have a visit with you. I know family visits always perk me up.

@Happy2BeMe I'm sure you do. When George gets better, (and he's doing a little more everyday) he would go on for hours about the cup series. He tried to last Sunday when he watched the race.

Today was very nice here, right around 50 degrees. I'm glad you visited your mother-in-law, she no doubt enjoyed that time spent with you! We shop at a dollar store also, for a few of their good buys:)

You can get some good deals at the dollar store. With the prices rising everywhere we shop there more now than we ever did.
