A bit of a late start.

Good morning.
Got a bit of a late start this morning. However, I'm here. George is doing alright. Although he's a little tired. Not really unusal, he's no spring chicken and he's still healing from his stroke. He is outside and his meds are good. Had a phone call with the anticogulation clinic today. She's going to continue his medicine for his blood thinner. His bloods are actually doing real good on it. So, yay.
I did tell them about the nose bleed, and she told me just to keep an eye on things and gave me some tips on how to stop them and prevent them. So, I'll start working on that, too.
Chilly's real happy, too. He got fed so he's being quiet.

His nose actually stopped on it's own after about two hours. While that's abnormal unless you're on a blood thinner, it's actually a huge help to George. When he was in the hospital and they were using Heprin and trying to get him on warfarin, he got a nose bleed they couldn't stop and that put him on a ventilator. so two hours is an improvment.

It's good that you mentioned the nose bleed and they gave you tips if he has more. It's probably normal for George to be tired and trying to heal from his stroke Hope you both have a good day and some nice weather to enjoy.

The doctor that subbed in for his normal pcp mentioned that it's normal for him to be tired and want to sleep. And, after a long stent in the hospital, the amount he slept was expected. He's actually starting to stay up later at night, and asking for meals around ten-11 O'clock. He's not eating the whole meal in one setting, but he tried. I'm still giving tube feeds, to help keep him strong.
