Looks a little bit empty

Whenever I redeem on a survey site or other earning site, I find it looks a little bit empty and sad. I do like to get that little bit of money, though. Some sites send you every penny you have every time. Others cut off at even dollar amounts. For the ones that redeem at even amounts like Swagbucks and Microsoft, I try to get a little ahead so it does not say "zero" when I cash out. I redeemed Microsoft this morning. It is one that is limited in how much you can earn each day, but that is okay. I will take the money and run.

I am building up all my surveys and other money-making sites as much as possible so I can use them toward UBer. Since I don't drive anymore it can be very costly for us to pay for Ubers each time. So the cards help out.

Every bit of extra money is needed these days. I am sure that helps stretch between paydays.

@GardenGerty ......It does help. I keep my PayPal account for emergencies. Nice to have some backup. I like Swagbucks too.

Swagbucks makes it hard for me to quit. I have sixty in there so I cash out fifty- how can I leave that hard earned money and go do something else?

I never let it build up past $25 because I have heard of people getting hacked, or getting their membership cancelled for no reason. It is hard to quit any of them and leave that money, even a little bit.

@GardenGerty I have had it up to 100 and been fine. One huge issue that happened some time ago that super ticked me off: Ebay would not honor Swagbucks. I ordered something and my earned money was swallowed and SB and Ebay would do nothing about it.

Enough pennies holding hands make for a few extra dollars.

It's nice to have those sources of income even if they don't bring in very much.

It is fun money, or I guess our grandmothers called it "pin money" or "butter and egg" money. Pin money as that is when they could buy sewing pins and butter and eggs because that is what they sold. Actually my grandmother sold strawberries, but no one ever referred to the spare money as "strawberry money".

@GardenGerty Mum sold eggs, butter, cream, dressed chickens and called it 'pin' or 'egg' money. . It made quite a difference to her life.

All my cash outs go for things that are not necessary but that we just want. I am on the downward side of this cold. The doctor saw Bob and basically told him to do what I have been doing so that he will get better too.

I do like to get the discount cash out at $25, and the bonuses for participating in team challenge. I cannot believe how much some people earn there.

I got to where I was doing $5 Amazon there after the team challenge weeks because the bonus points for participating made that a really inexpensive redemption.

I like sites that allow you to cash out all your money once you hit a certain dollar threshold.

If they all end up empty at once, there is an echo--not really.

Microsoft Rewards. . . it used to be Bing. You set a target and earn towards it. It is interesting because it is not surveys, but I get about $5.00 every three weeks max.
