Incredible wind. Branches falling. What's going on?

I hear the howl. I am watching trees bent by 30 degrees. I hear and see branches snapping and falling on my balcony. What the heck is going on? It is sunny and cool here. I don't see rain clouds. But this is among the strongest winds I have experienced here in the San Francisco Bay Area. Kitty moved from her food bowl near the sliding glass door to my feet. I assured that our house is strong. Then she slept a bit and then moved to near our closet, deeper within my cave. How is the weather where you are?

Just be careful and be inside when the strong winds are outside. Kitty perhaps did the right thing. The day time mercury is crossing 30 C. Nights are still slightly cold at 17 to 19 C, but it is almost summer time here. Have a nice Friday!

We had strong thunderstorms move through last night; but all we got here was one bit of thunder and then a downpour. The forecast says it will s**w on Monday. Makes me sad. Have a good weekend.

The storms have not reached central Kansas--yet. It was windy with winds from the West yesterday evening. Sunny and calm this morning. I heard that eastern Kansas and Missouri had bad hail.

Strong winds can be a real pain. Sometimes we have windy days without storms to follow. However, today is not one of those days.

The wind has dropped to maybe 10 mph here. I heard chain saws outside. I'll see if they removed the large redwood branch that fell in front of my house.
