21 March - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from cold, partly cloudy Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. The current temperature is 33 F. Snow will start around midnight. 
I have much to be thankful for today.
Yesterday was my grandson's birthday. I messaged him and wished him a happy birthday and asked if he got my package. He didn't. He didn't tell me he moved. It went to his former address. He told me he could still get it. I messaged him today. It's in the mail to him. He should get it soon.
I'm thankful for the time I spent here with you. I've finished the notifications three times. It's always wonderful to find out what's happening in your world.
I'm thankful for the work I did on Faith to believe and New Horizons - Predators and Terrorists. Both are coming along well. I haven't had time yet to work on Wilderness Cry. I'll do that when I post this.
I'm thankful for a good game of Canasta. My partner and I won the first game. The other team won the first hand of the second. Lots of fun.
I'm thankful for getting my steps. I walked the building this morning. Now, I'll work out on the foot cycle when I watch TV shortly.
Okay, that's my day. I got a lot more done today than yesterday.
I learned at Canasta and from a few other people that they weren't well yesterday either. It's strange how the weather affected so many people at once. Today, everyone is fine.

It went wonderfully. He's happy with the weight loss. I broke 200 and weighed in at 199. On the doctor's scale it was 200.2. I see him again in a year. I'm hoping to be down another 30 pounds.

@porwest The Post Office didn't deliver the package. Amazon did. His father, I assume that's where Amazon delivered it, mailed it to him through the Post Office. I need to verify he got the package. I only waited until I expected it would be delivered.

That's a nice picture. I'm thankful beyond words that I got to speak with my husband last night. We had a long conversation and got caught up with everything. Have a good weekend.

I remember when my mother and some of the other farmer's wives began to get together to play canasta.
It was really more of a bake off, as the hostess always showed off her culinary skills by serving a delicious dessert.
I am glad that you are enjoying and mastering the game.
I worked in the office today.
I wasn't too keen on going, but my commute each way was very smooth and quick.
Sometimes a change is as a rest, and today was that for me.
