Total Disregard for Human Life

On the outskirts of Moscow, Russia at the Crocus City Hall several gunmen killed 115 people and injured over 100 others. Supposedly ISIS claims responsibility but there is no evidence to back this up. The numbers of killed and injured keep changing. The gunmen used automatic firearms and threw explosives that caused a fire and the roof of the concert hall partly collapsed. This all happened before the concert was to start. People were being rescued from the building but others remained trapped inside. Every time something like this happens I am rendered speechless. The world is in a bad shape as it is so why do the evil ones have to make it even worse and take the lives of innocent people? March 24 has been declared a day of National Mourning in Russia.

It seems that no matter where you are, it is not safe to be in public.

NYC - 9/11. Mumbai - 26 Nov 2008 Mumbai - 1993 blasts Attacks in Afghanistan, Middle East, as well as a few in London - 2005, Brussels - 2016 and much more. At one time, India faced terrible insurgency in two states and minor ones elsewhere. The situation is better now but we understand the gravity of such attacks. And somewhere, many of the weapons, brains and the technology used is a result of the global Arms Market, especially those of the bigger powers. Unfortunately, disarmament and a genuine wold peace is no longer talked or even discussed. And well, UN seems totally helpless and the big powers keep on playing a Battle of Egos !

ISIS is claiming responsibility and not one news agency is saying what needs to be said, they did it during the Islamic "holy" month of Ramadan. That tells volumes.

I have not had an easy life, but I cannot imagine what would lead a person to behave like this.

I'm so sorry that this has happened. The number of people killed and injured is inexcusable.
