Monday Morning Brief and Sunday Update

Good morning from dreary, mild, melting Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. A day like today can be depressing with all the melting going on. It can also make one sleepy with the amount of rain we're supposed to get all day. It hasn't started raining yet, but it has started melting.
Yesterday was a wonderful day. It was Palm Sunday, and I decided to wear a dress to church. I don't wear them often because I need to wear compression leggings and socks. I got lots of compliments. I also wore the leggings underneath because it's a must I wear them.
The service was wonderful. Easter is next week, and I asked how many children they have as I boil up and dye Easter eggs for the children. I'll be buying 3 dozen eggs this week along with the dye and vinegar. I'll probably make it four dozen so I have some for my son, his girlfriend, and her grandmother who will come to dinner on Sunday.
I made a pot roast for dinner with onions, carrots, and potatoes. It wasn't a large roast, but it was big enough to share. When it was ready to come out of the crockpot, I invited my neighbors over for dinner. It was delicious, and we all had a wonderful meal together.
When I looked outside for the first time yesterday, I couldn't keep my eyes off the snow. It was coming down blizzard fashion, though it wasn't a blizzard. I took a few memorable pictures because it's what I do and a few people here like my snow pictures. It might be the last of the year, but I hope not. We have rain for today and tomorrow. Though I did see snowflakes on the weather map for later this week.
I ended the day with a movie. Wonder Woman. I really enjoyed it. It was the 2017 version on Netflix that will be leaving at the end of the month.
Yesterday was a perfect day. Today, not so much with the grass already making holes in the snow. I don't have much going on today. Notifications, steps, books. I might read because I want to get the book I'm reading done and move onto another book.

Sounds like a good Sunday, and like Easter will be nice too.... Sorry the snow is starting to melt...but hope you still have a good day. We are travelling out of town for my son's neurology appointment so it is going to be a long day.

@just4him that's good it did and you're looking forward to Easter. Not sure we'll be doing anything this year.
The appointment is over now we're on the way home. About 130 miles left to go. Not sure what I think about the appointment yet

It sounds like you had a great day yesterday. My day is going OK except my mouse keeps freezing. I was checking on the mouse driver and it says it is working as it should and has the best driver. So?? Hmmm.

@snowy22315 It's why I prefer wired. With both my keyboard and mouse freezing all the time, I went to the store and got wired and have kept it that way since. That was years ago when I bought a new computer, the worst decision ever, and the wireless keyboard and mouse came with it. Worst decision because I should have waited six months for the new computer to come out. I got a Vista.

The image is beautiful. Your camera is really good.
It's very nice of to buy eggs so you can prepare for the children for Easter holiday.
It's kind of to invite your neighbors for the delicious meal you prepared.
Wonder woman sounds like a nice movie.
My day was good. I was with my boss at work. Only two of us in the office. I left at 3:30pm and she remained. We agreed where she will leave the key. I bought some avocados at good price. Though they are not my favorite type but I liked that they were not rotten. They are the type to be eaten with salt.

Avocadoes don't last long. I'm glad you made them before they went bad. I've never eaten them with salt.

@just4him I also don't eat with salt unless they taste watery. They are different types of avocadoes. My favorite is the one that you don't need salt for them to be sweet.
Your welcome. How many megapixels is your phone camera? Mine is 5mp.
Dying eggs sounds interesting. I've never eaten dyed eggs.

pretty snow. I saw that movie and I liked it. I want to see the sequel, but haven't yet. Sunday I went to the grocery store. Monday I worked on my mother's diamond painting. I usually dress up on Easter. I had been wearing a dress that I loved, but it got too tight the last time I wore it. So now I wear a skirt.
