Nice day again.

A friend called us to get some mint plants. We got chocolate and regular mint from her. The mint plant attracts the good bugs and lady bugs. I love seeing lady bugs hanging around. We will plant them with the potatoes tomorrow. April first we will plant the cat grass and the cat nip. Last year they came up really fast so hopefully they will come up fast this year to. Some interesting facts: The giraffe is the tallest land animal. The whale is the largest sea animal. It can grew to be 108 feet in length. The water in bottled water does not expire. It is the bottle that expires.

Honey and water never expire but can be contaminated by the plastic containers they in. Giraffes and Whales are awesome, people should go see these amazing neat creatures.

It's sunny out here but only 4°C/40°F and not supposed to get much warmer (9°C/49°F) so probably won't be spending much time outside today or the rest of the week.

I knew about the bottled water, it never made sense for water to expire, but that also means water can 'absorb' some plastic, and we may end up drinking that concoction. I love mint, I don't mind it can be an infesting plant at times. I didn't know it'd also attract good bugs.

I love lady bugs, mint is invasive, the min in our garden has spread too much.

@jstory07 I am pulling up my mint and re-plant in large containers. I made the mistake to plant in the ground, I had to know that it's an invasive plant.

We're always told to plant mint in a container as it can take over a whole garden in time.

I know most gardeners welcome ladybugs to keep the greenfly down. Interesting thing about water bottles expiring first

Yeah, the plastic bottle starts to break down and put bad things in the water. My sister called me a couple years ago to tell me that because she knew I reused a water bottle over and over. I had known that, but it’s a good reminder. If whales were tame, would you ride one?
