Do you enjoy grocery shopping? / myLot

You might be surprised that I find it enjoyable to go grocery shopping. My personal reason is that I can see some new food products and their promotions. I can check which ones are cheaper and have good qualities. It is also my time to go outside and enjoy the process of traveling there, and vice versa. Do you have the same feeling? I am old-school when it comes to having a checklist before going to the grocery store. Since we are living a bit far from the city center, I cannot afford to miss any groceries.

@Shavkat I keep a small blackboard in the kitchen, when I see that something is missing or finishing, I write it down so I am ready to prepare my list.

I do like grocery shopping! I like looking for all kinds of ingredients at the best deals . . . I enjoy cooking for family and of course we love to eat. Many of the employees in each store know me by now - so it's always fun to be greeted by them when I go

Since I am learning how to cook, it is one of my hobbies now. I always try to find new recipes online and buy these ingredients to cook certain meals.

I have a love/hate relationship with groecery shopping. Especially now that I'm relying on ride shares until George can drive again. I love the process, but sometimes I get tired. So, the process is difficult.

@Shavkat We have places where you can, I just don't. I buy a lot of pre-packaged and boxed stuff online.

I can feel you. In my country, buying raw ingredients online is not that popular here. Even if it is, I prefer to buy the grocery shop.

I used to enjoy it until the price of everything went up so much. Now, it's trying to find what I can afford more than the things I enjoy eating.

I also did the same thing during and after the pandemic. I am trying my best to cook affordable meals that are tasty and healthy.

It's a way to relax :) I often do this if I feel stressed. Sometimes on weekends, I go grocery shopping with my husband and children, as a form of entertainment.

It is nice to tag along your family to the grocery shop. For me, there is no particular day when I should go there. If it happens that I need to run some errands, I am most likely to have some groceries.
