Many of us have already experienced the increase in car insurance; but there has been an average increase of 22.2%, the largest since the 70s. The prices of new and used cars have gone down a bit.
What started out as a throat tickle has turned into congestion in my lungs and my not feeling well. I hope I didn't give this to my husband when I saw him the other day.
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - BBQ chicken breast, green beans, macaroni and cheese, red cabbage, corn muffin, peaches
Dessert/Snack - Chocolate chip muffin
Dinner - PB&J sandwich

Everything has gone up, & now the wage of workers have too
so what does THAT mean for the average joe to live cheap? O.

@LindaOHio That's right, & way back when I was on here
B-4 I was talking about the SAME thing then & no 1 wanted to
hear it or even believe it well now it's here & every 1 is feeling it.

@2ndchances24 Some put their head in the sand and believe everything the government says... that the economy is getting better. Yet inflation is still here. Food prices are high and gas prices are rising again, but some except it without complaint. And they will still vote again for an administration who is contributing to it. This president has and the majority in Congress has done nothing except spend money on useless social programs and foreign aid to Ukraine. When you recklessly spend you reduce the purchasing power of the dollar and in turn, it makes everything more expensive.

Yes, seems the last 3 years the cost of living has been increasing. Now it's car insurance and also rent. Those Chocolate chip muffins would make for a tasty treat.
Oh well, I guess I'll have a chocolate chip muffin while I can still afford one and believe the government and news media that inflation is easing...
I see from your other post that your husband is getting stronger. Great news!

I sure hope my car insurance don't go up a whole lot in May when I get a new price for the next 6 months.

Insurance is very high. I just paid mine. It about killed me. At least I won't have to worry about it for six more months.

Yeah, I had that nearly 900-dollar shock earlier this month. It wasn’t due until next month but I went ahead and paid it.
Make sure you don’t have covid. It’s probably allergies (they’ve been awful this year), but you never know.
I went to Mark’s for a chicken & cheese-stuffed baked potato, then had infamous potato soup for dinner. And more apples!!!!!!!

I cut up chunks of ham from a ham steak, cut up chunks of chicken from chicken tenderloin. Then I made a delicious sauce with melted butter, some soy, they say to use a splash of lemon juice but I used some Italian dressing, and thickened it with Thai sauce poured it over the meat and baked for 30 minutes, It was delicious over rice,
