I am always bargain hunting. At Walmart yesterday I found a marked down container of Lobster Bisque soup. We had that and a toasted roll topped with gruyere cheese. The soup was $1.16 so that makes it 58 cents per serving and it was so good. Whenever possible, especially on weekends, I like to eat simply. There was enough chicken left from my meal last night that I can pack two lunches from it. I will make more rice and some broccoli to make it a good meal. I had thought about sharing it with Bob. I still could, tomorrow, and come up with some other lunches for school. We make our groceries stretch.

I do love Lobster Bisque. Also tomato bisque. Very tasty. I like to eat light in the summer too. Finger foods and sandwiches.

Lobster bisque is delicious, I used to make it from scratch when we lived in the south of France.

We try to stretch out our groceries too. It's surprising how cheap a meal can be sometimes.

I'm lucky I have some Meals on Wheels in the freezer because I feel so lousy. I'll have one of those and maybe some cranberry juice. I'm glad your lobster bisque was good. Have a great day.
