Tampa Bay police rescue six ducklings trapped inside of a sewer drain

It is evident that an animal lover contacted 911 to report hearing noises coming from a storm drain in Tampa Bay Florida on Monday.
The 911 dispatcher sent members of the Tampa Bay Police Department to the area where the police officers were located to rescue six ducklings who were huddled together in the corner of the sewer.
The police officers worked as a team with one officer grabbing one duckling at a time before handing the duckling to another police officer who placed the duckling inside of a box.
The mom duck is grateful that the Tampa Bay police officers were able to retrieve all of the ducklings and reunite them with their mom.
How did the ducklings get inside of the storm drain is not known at this time.

They were lucky they were rescued before a heavy rain carried them further into the drain to their probable peril.
