When you drink water, do you like it plain, or do you prefer it with something in? ice cubes, lemon or cucumber slices...what? I generally like it plain with or without ice, but I have a cumcumber now so I am going to put some in water for a change. What about you?

I prefer it plain and chilled. We keep a pitcher of filtered water in the fridge.

I keep a pitcher of water in my refrigerator but it is tap water as the water in my town comes from every clean area so I trust the water is clean.

Lemon, lime, and 2 ice cubes. I like it cold but not to cold, it makes my teeth hurt.

@snowy22315 naw I don't like anything that bites me back. I do like the health benefits I get from both though. My kids used to give me sour apple dum dum pops so they could watch the face I made.

Sparkling water, no ice, sometimes a slice of lemon added. I keep the bottle in the refrigerator.

@LadyDuck I am the opposite, although sparkling water may have additional health benefits from what I have read.

On our smallholding we had rainwater which tasted wonderful, altogether different to 'town' water. I sometimes add a dash of lemon juice now to kill the taste.

When I visit someone who has "city water" I can taste the chlorine in it.

@snowy22315 The chlorine taste used to be bad some years ago but they seem to have fixed that problem now but the water still doesn't taste really nice.

I usually hate plain water unless I'm really thirsty. I need to drink a lot more; but I have trouble with it. Have a good day.

@snowy22315 I now have bad reports on my kidneys and need to have an ultrasound. This all could have been avoided if I would drink more water.

since I have to drink a lot of water, it has to be ice water. I don't usually add anything to it

@snowy22315 I want to buy a bottle of lemon juice like I once had when I shop next week. I wouldn't put a cucumber in it as they always give me indigestion.

It's summertime in the Philippines and it's been very hot lately, so I always put loads of ice in my drinks, whether it's just water, iced tea, juice, or infused.

I like water plain, with lemon, and often put ice cubes in to keep it really cold, I boil up my drinking water, then pour in a jug, and keep it cold for drinking in my fridge,

I like mine plain with ice. I have a water and ice cube dispenser in my fridge so it makes it easy to drink water. Once I finish my morning coffee I switch over to water.

If not plain, then with some lemon flavored electrolyte mix. No ice. No cucumber, that has never sounded good to me.

It has to be ice cold. So at home, I might have put my water in the freezer for awhile before I drink it. But if it is at a restaurant, there is no doubt ice in it. Although, if the restaurant put a slice of lemon on the rim of my glass, I will squeeze the lemon in my water because it whitens teeth and gives a burst of vitamins.

I don't like water at all and drinking it is a huge effort. I gave up on drinking it because I couldn't force myself any longer. I replaced it with herbal tea.
