6 May - What I'm Thankful for Today / myLot

Good evening from warm, Green Bay, Wisconsin. It was 71 F when I was out earlier. It's currently 68 F. It's been a good day. I think I got everything done I wanted to do today. I'm thankful for the seven hours of sleep I got last night. My fitness tracker put my sleep in the 'good' category. I'm thankful I got the notifications finished this morning twice, before and after I posted the Morning Brief and after the Australia post. I'm thankful for my haircut and getting to Hy-Vee afterward to get the tuna I forgot on Friday. I'm thankful the scale continues to show a loss. Every ounce helps. I'm thankful I have all my steps for the day. I'm close to 10K after my walk. I'm thankful for the work I did on In the Hands of Mighty Men. I looked for and found a suitable bookcover for it on Pixabay. Okay, that's my day. It was full. Time to get off the computer. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. It's a nice pond. I don't know if it's manmade, which I think it might be, or natural. There are ducks and geese on it often.

@just4him It is a large pond, there is one in the park near us and I know it is man made.

Gorgeous photo. So serene. I am thankful I ran into a precious book at the thrift store today. Its a doozy. May Sarton's poetry and a huge bonus: artsy black and white nature photographs. May Sarton was kind of a pioneer American poet. Lovely poems. Pioneer in that she believed in women's rights and happened to be gay when it wasn't something you told the world about.
