Special May Memories

Back in 1969 The Bee Gees recorded a song “The First of May”. It was released as a single and featured in their album Odessa. It may not have made it to number one but it is a lovely and poignant song, When I listen to this love ballad I remember my life in Riga, Latvia particularly when I hear these lovely lyrics about apple trees of which we had five in our garden.
The Apple tree that grew for you and me
I watched the apples falling one by one
And I recall the moment of them all
The day I kissed your cheek and you were gone
Has anyone heard this song before? I have included another poetic meme that I created with a photo of one of our apple trees.

A one of a kind music and sound, a special music that made history.
My favorite is/was ''How Deep Is Your Love?''

@RasmaSandra They were so sad since the idiot critics lampooned their music a lot.

Their songs are soo good. All of them. Never heard this one before, but possibly heard it playing in my dad’s room.
Check out For Whom the Bell Tolls sometime. Came out in the 90’s, beautiful song.
