My summer fitness plan is always to mow at least a half hour daily. Weather has not really permitted it so far. I mowed part of the front just now and am on a break. I sprayed my hat with insect repellent and the cuffs of my pants and my shoes and arms. I have had two ticks already this year. The ground is wet and the grass is tall, so I am taking a break. I ate an orange to help. I went to Newton with Bob when he went to his appointment. There is a WalMart nearby. I guess the lost power and lost a bunch of cold foods. At any rate, the refrigerator cases were pretty bare. Bob is napping. I goofed around inside a bit, then mowed a half hour. I will do at least one more half hour before the end of the day. I also want to plant some things and put some soil in some pots. Hope you are having a great day.

I am having a good day indeed. Sorry to hear you had two ticks already this year. I shared my tick story and even threw in that I had ringworm as well.

That was a good idea to use repellent. We get kangaroo ticks here out in the bush if we're not careful.

It is difficult to mow when it rains so much. Why I am thankful for the few days of sun we are having.

Our lawn in the back could use a nice mow. We'll get to it I'm sure. I'm glad you're getting It done.

My yard is done for now. We water it every other day. It will not need mowing for awhile unless it rains again.

I hope you can get the mowing done. I'm sorry Wal-Mart lost power with the storms.

Ticks are supposed to be really bad this year. Don't overdo with the mowing. Make sure you stay hydrated. Have a good day.

It sounds like you're keeping busy with your summer fitness plan despite the weather challenges! Mowing the lawn daily is a great way to stay active and maintain your outdoor space. Dealing with ticks can definitely be a nuisance, so it's wise to take precautions like using insect repellent. It's good to hear that you're staying proactive about it. It's unfortunate about the power outage at Walmart, but I hope you were still able to find what you needed. Taking breaks when the ground is wet and the grass is tall is important for safety, so it's great that you're being mindful of that. Enjoy the rest of your day and your gardening activities!
