This movie was really good, it made me laugh and then I cried. Oh, did I ever cry! Owen Wilson did a good job as Marley's owner and his best friend:)
Jennifer Aniston played the part as his wife. They ended up with three children, two boys and a little girl.
When Marley died, they each said a little something before he was buried. And Jennifer had a lovely necklace that her husband had given her. She threw it into the grave, in remembrance of Marley.
Patrick, the oldest son, was too choked up to say anything. He never remembered a day in this world, without Marley being around!

Movies that have dogs and their relationship with their owners are really good movies.

That was a very sweet movie.
I remember the night that we watched it, about 3 weeks or so after our sweet dog, Nayla, had passed and the same day that the vet had sent a sympathy card with a framed paw print of hers in it.
We were crying before the movie started........we really cried once it got going. But good tears of happy memories and unconditional love of a beloved pet.

I wish now that I'd gotten a paw print from Micah's foot. I do have a nice picture of him, taken in our back yard.

First, the couple buys a puppy. Marley is awful, he chews up everything and gets them in trouble! Eventually, they have three children and Marley settles in as a contented family member:) He eventually has to be euthanized, the very sad ending. I cried watching Marley's burial service! @changjiangzhibin89

I have seen that movie and it just chokes me up at the end, I would have liked to see a final scene where a year later they welcome another dog,

It sounds like this movie took you on an emotional rollercoaster! Owen Wilson really brought Marley's owner to life with his heartfelt performance, and Jennifer Aniston added a touching depth as his wife. The scene where the family says their goodbyes to Marley must have been incredibly moving, especially with Jennifer's symbolic gesture of throwing her necklace into the grave. It's understandable that Patrick, the oldest son, was too choked up to speak; growing up with Marley as a constant companion made saying goodbye that much harder. This film clearly resonated with you, blending moments of laughter with those of deep sorrow.

Losing a caring family member isn't easy to handle. Even if that family member is a devoted animal!
I've lost many pets, one dog was 18 years old. I will never forget Puffer!
