Authorities in Connecticut rescue 11 ducklings and their mom from a plaza

Thanks to the teamwork of gardeners, the Stamford Police Department, Animal Control officers, a security guard and Lynne Colatrella who is with the Stamford Downtown Special Services District who saw a mama duck with 11 ducklings that were recently hatched eight days ago outside of an isolated downtown plaza, the teamwork resulted in the stranded ducklings and their mom were picked up and taken to the Mill River safely. The work of getting the 11 ducklings away from the plaza took three trips to get the ducklings and their mom taken to the river safely. The story is that the mom duck has laid her eggs at the same plaza to the last four years since the plaza is a safe place to leave her eggs there. Link is upi.com/4991715804006 via @upi
