Do you wear scarves?

We’re between seasons here in a way. It’s definitely getting cooler but not to the point where you need two or more layers. I’ve taken to wearing a scarf with my round-necked tops. I have an assortment of scarves which you can see laid out on the ironing table. I’ve never worn them much but I watched a YouTube clip on 10 different ways to wear them so I’ve decided to make more use of those I have. Vince has two or three that he brought back from Nepal and he likes to wear them when it’s cold. They certainly help keep you warm. I ironed all mine this morning. They were all a bit creased and now they’re hanging on hangers in my wardrobe.

You have a lovely selection of scarves in lots of pretty colours. I wear scarves also, any season except summer. I think that they finish an outfit nicely and they do keep you snug and warm.

The sweater needed either a blouse underneath or something round the neck. It was too warm for extra clothing so the blouse fitted the bill beautifully.

I don’t. I have one, for the winter, but I think the last time I wore it was when the wind chill was below zero (that’s F, not C!) and I had to walk from the parking lot to the VA hospital. They must have weighed ten pounds of clothing on me!

They really help keep you warm. Our woolly ones got a lot of use in Ireland. My friend went to the snowfields and said she could hardly move for clothing.

@LadyDuck I could never work out how to tie/wear them but I found a YouTube tutorial on 10 ways to wear a scarf. It was very helpful.

I'm going to try to wear these. It might save me trying to find a blouse to go under a jumper.

@judyev You iron your scarves? I suppose with Vince still in the hospital you must be at a loose end!! I have A scarf. In church I noticed that the ladies were having an evening where the guest speaker was giving a talk on “50 ways to wear a scarf”. I did not attend.

@JudyEv That’s a relief to know you don’t iron much, especially scarves. There are too many nice things to do in life other than ironing clothes.

I haven't used these and they were pretty crumpled. Most are material ones rather than woollen warm scarves. I wouldn't iron them. I'm totally denying that I iron much at all.

I do not wear them often, but certain things certainly call for a scarf or something like one.

I'd tried several blouses on under this jumper but they didn't sit nicely. The scarf solved the problem.

I wear them more as a fashion and not to ward off the cold. I have a few.

I don't' wear scarves often but i have one that I treasure that my Aunt brought me back from Ireland. Your scarves are very pretty and scarves are popular as accessories these days.

@JudyEv No, it's silk-like but very pretty. I wear it more as fashion than warmth.

@Marilynda1225 I have some silky ones too and I'm trying to wear them more. My neck feels cold if I wear something without a collar so a scarf fits the bill nicely.

I can imagine myself wearing mine more often. Is the one from Ireland meant for warmth? We used ours a lot over there.
