Monday Morning Brief and Sunday Update

Good morning from sunny Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. Currently, it's 53 F. I woke up to 46 F. It's supposed to get to 70 F today. It should also be pleasant with a light breeze. It would be a nice change from the windy days we've had recently. Yesterday was a good day. I went to church. I thought I had enough sleep, but I found myself dozing off during the sermon. It was a good sermon on the parable of the Good Samaritan. After church it was movie time. I watched three movies: Miracles from Heaven, Let There be Light, and Heaven Is for Real. My friend also came over with some bling for the Father's Day event tomorrow. I chose a few bracelets, and rings. Now, mind you, I'm not a jewelry person, so this will be different for me. She also brought over leis as it's a Hawaiian theme with a contest on the best Hawaiian dressed. We'll see if I win anything. I'm wearing a dress I made when I lived on Guam. Not exactly Hawaiian, but it is tropical. I also make fresh-squeezed lemonade yesterday and had two taste testers. The first told me I needed more sugar and the second, the person who brought the bling, said it was perfect. I don't have pictures because they won't download. As for today's plans, swimming is out. My son's girlfriend is working late. Right now, it looks like I'll go tomorrow. That leaves notifications and book(s). I made good headway on In the Hands of Mighty Men on Saturday. I hope to do the same today. I have a lot of revisions to make with it. Okay, that's the plan for today and my weekend. How's your day going? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.
