Four people who were stuck in the Arkansas River in Pueblo Colorado are grateful that the Pueblo Fire Department answered an emergency call to rescue the foursome from a possible bad ending.
A Swift Water Rescue Team used a raft to rescue the four persons who were in the river wearing life jackets which made it easier to save their lives in the afternoon.
The firefighters are asking people to stay from the Arkansas River due to the high water levels at this time.
Thank goodness no one was hurt in the rescue mission.

Yes, thank goodness. I have boated The River of No Return( the Salmon River) here in Idaho among others here and I know how treacherous the waters can be. Thank goodness they had life jackets on.

I wonder how they got into the river, perhaps, an overturned boat?? They were fortunate to be rescued without mishap.

Probably a boat overturned in the river even though what happened was not reported.
