How do we know she didn't take it home and make rabbit stew out of it?

The authorities are going to spend money investigating how a rabbit fell into a river???? As a taxpayer I'd have some words for the authorities. Give me a break. In any event, I am glad the rabbit is safe, and I can say if I saw an animal in distress I'd probably do all I could to help it.

I agree with you that taxpayer money should be used the proper way.

That's a very unusual place to find a rabbit.

That is true since I am wondering if someone hurled the rabbit into the river or the rabbit fell into the river by accident.

What a strange occurrence? Maybe a predator scared it. One always hates to see an animal in distress! Fortunate, she noticed the rabbit.

Most likely what happened that some fireworks did scare the rabbit.
