Emery County Sheriff's Office (ECSO) deputies answered an emergency call two days ago that a woman who suffers from dementia who went out for a walk with her dog in Emery County Utah but went missing. After a day passed, a Utah Division Of Wildlife Resources Officer and his K 9 dog Kip went on a mission to locate the missing woman. A break in the case when a dog barking around 3:30 in the morning but they could not find the dog or the missing woman. The next day a neighbor of the missing woman also heard noises from the same dog but the noise came from an area that had no houses in the area. Thanks to the local security footage, the missing woman and her dog were walking in a west direction which inspired Kip and his owner to look in that same direction when they heard the barks of the dog as they were walking alongside the mountain when they found both the dog and woman safe and sound. The rescue team members said that the woman was in good condition but dehydrated missing her shoes with bruises and scratches. A neighbor gave the missing woman some water and called the sheriff's office so that the woman could be taken a local hospital to be treated for her injuries. The woman is expected to make a full recovery despite dealing with hot weather during the day. Link is kutv.com/news/local/her,,,

Perhaps the woman being demented didn't realise the gravity of her situation so much, and she was happy just walking her dog, oblivious to all else. It was good that she was found though, as another day in those conditions, might have led to her being much worsely affected by such an ordeal as that.

That is true since the weather conditions were not in her favor to survive that long of a time.
