Monday Morning Brief and Sunday Update

Good morning from hot and humid Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's 78 F. It will be in the mid to high 80s today.
Yesterday was a good day. The sermon gave a challenge. What is one characteristic someone would say about me. I needed to ask someone who knows me. Since I don't have a spouse or significant other, my choices were limited. I asked my friend down the hall, I go to Bible study with on Tuesdays. She gave me three characteristics instead of one. First - stubborn. Yes, I am. Second - strong, strength. I agree. Third - intelligent. That made me happy.
I'm also on the prayer team at church now as well as counting the offering. My prayer partner was the pastor's wife. After we prayed for one person, I asked her for prayer for my leg. She's also a nurse. After she prayed for me she asked me what I'm taking for pain. I told her Ibuprofen. She told me to take it everyday for two weeks for pain and inflamation.
I also watched the Olympics yesterday and went out to dinner with my neighbor.
Today's plans include watching the Olympics, I have it on behind me. I also have all my steps. I took the Ibuprofen first thing this morning and got all my steps in two walks. The first one I couldn't go further than the picnic table at building 100. The second one, I walked around the pond. I also got a few sunrise photos this morning. My first walk was before 6 AM. The second at 8:30.
I also worked on three books already this morning. So, it's been a busy morning already. I'm glad I have the walks done outside because it was still cool enough to walk, even though the humidity was already on the rise.
So, for the rest of the day, I'll get the notifications done, and do more work on my books. I opened Wilderness Cry. I haven't worked on it for quite a while. I also opened In the Hands of Mighty Men. I made headway with the changes I need to make. I also opened Ecstasy and worked/read through the first chapter. I need to do more work on each of those.
That's my day so far and the plan for the rest of it. How's your day going? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

You've had a very busy couple days:) And your walking is excellent therapy, to build up your muscles and strengthen your legs:)

@just4him And Ibuprofen also takes away the inflamation, as the nurse said.

Our housekeeper is getting the house ready for my husband's return; and her mother went to the rehab facility and packed up a load of clothes, etc. that my husband isn't using. I called and got an extension from the judge's team to get the physical therapy records in to them. Have a good day.

Your Monday certainly sounds like it was busy and productive. Hope the pain in your leg goes away and that the prayers and ibuprofen works.
My Monday flew by and I don't even remember what I did

Thank you. Both are working. I walked the trail again this morning. I didn't know if my leg would allow it, but I got home okay. I'll take more Ibuprofen in another hour.
I'm glad your day flew by.
