29 July - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from hot and humid Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's 79 F and feels much warmer.
It's been a good day. I did everything this morning before I turned on the TV and started watching the Olympics. No gold for the US today, unless I missed those games. We did get silver and bronze though. What I liked most was that countries who don't usually medal in the events I watched, scored gold for their countries. In the pool competition the difference between gold, silver, and bronze was hundredths of seconds. It was exciting.
Okay, that's great for the athletes, but it's not me. So what am I thankful for today?
I'm thankful I was available for my friend who needed me to watch Sammy for her while she ran to the store and pharmacy. He was really good.
I'm thankful I got my walking done early before the heat settled in.
I'm thankful I worked on several books today.
And I'm thankful I spent time with you today. It's always fun to see what's going on in your world.
Okay, that's my day. I need to find something to eat and workout on the foot cycle.

I'm thankful that my wire3 install went successfully. It took about two hours, hardly knew they were here. I'm thankful that George didn't put up much of a fight. I got his second tube feed in. He has spent the entire day on the couch. I'm okay with that. didn't hit the 90's today, but still hot enough. I'm thankful I've made my office somewhat usuable. that's been real handy with this god awful heat.

Those seconds sure mess with competitions don't they? Last I saw the USA was leading in medals so that's good. How are you feeling? Are you all well now?

I’m thankful for a good cupping session with my acupuncturist today, and then having lunch with my dad and his wife.
I look forward to catching more of the Olympics this week. Although my nerves get wrecked when I start watching these competitions.

I am thankful I am still well enough to do things. I am happy that no matter what I feed Bob he says it is good.

It can be called agreeable weather at 79 F .Here,it has been 36º C.There are many nail-biting moments watching the Olympics.

I must say that I have never followed the summer nor the winter Olympic games.
I feel like they are often too political, so I am better off not watching them.
I only worked a few hours today, which I am thankful for.
This afternoon my hubs and I went for a nice drive to an orchard and picked up some fresh peaches.

I am deeply thankful for the gift of life, my health, and the strength to face each day. I appreciate having a roof over my head, clothes on my back, and shoes on my feet. Most of all, I am grateful for the peace of mind that surrounds me.
