A Pick Me Up

Teasing my third cousin yesterday was fun

I got a call from my best friend that had some good news. Her son is back to normal now. He got ran down by a car when he was trying to help his friend change a tire. He had some surgeries and now he is back to normal. He's 21 years old.

Your FaceTime certainly was a pick-me up and I'm sure Amyra didn't care if you were holding the phone perfectly. My pick-me up today was getting a text with some video and pictures of the renovations my son and daughter in law are doing on their house.

My great granddaughter has been calling me every day. It's such a blessing and a pick me up. I love it when she tells me she loves me. My heart just sings.

Even though I was disappointed that my husband wasn't coming home today, it's always a pick-me-up when I talk to him. Have a good day.

There is a new small park in our downtown. I had an errand to do downtown the other day and I thought while I was there, to check out the new green space park. It was very pretty. It uplifted my spirit.

What a little sweetheart to facetime you on a spur of the moment like she did. I feel like she has the generosity and kindness of the average 25 people all rolled into one beautiful young girl. Last evening I heard that familiar ring on my phone that indicates a facetime request, and it was our son. It was fun just him and Dad and I chatting. It did my heart good. I love the girls and their Mom, but they were gone for a walk, talking with Jonathon (L'il J as we like to call him) just us and him.

That would have been such an uplifting talk. Have just watched a little kid on TV cheering her Dad on in the tennis. She was so excited it did my heart good just to watch her.

Glad you had a sweet conversation with Amyra. My phone is old, so it doesn't have the facetime feature, which is fine with me. I wouldn't use it. The other day when Mike began to scratch my back and say thanks for getting the yard mowed. It's the little things.

I don’t like FaceTime either , but occasionally do with certain friends or family.
