6 August - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from a beautiful day in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. The current temperature is 72 F with a nice breeze. It's been a good day. I have much to be thankful for today. I'm thankful I remembered to get the drops in my neighbor's eyes before I left this morning. I'm also thankful I remembered to take my Ibuprofen before I left. I'm thankful for Bible study. It was a small group as several of the ladies are on vacation. Getting there was fun. My friend hasn't driven for a couple of weeks and her inner compass was faulty. We took the long way getting there and then got stopped by Packers traffic. It was bike day for the Packers and kids. Kids bring their bikes for the Packers to ride. It's a fun event for everyone prior to the first pre-season game. So, we walked in exactly on time. I'm thankful for my friend who gives me a ride home. I got the two things I forgot last week. She also found the quicker way to get me home. I'm thankful I'm ready for Writer's Guild. I'm bringing the first chapter of my newest book - Wilderness Cry with me. It should be a good meeting. My friend will be here soon to pick me up. I'm thankful for the walk on the trail when I got home from Bible study. I have all but 300 steps. I'll have those by the time I get in the car to go to Writer's Guild. I'm thankful for the work I did today on Wilderness Cry. One more sentence. Hopefully, after tonight's meeting, I'll make more headway with it. Okay, that's my day so far. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.
