Jay Got in a Bicycle Accident

Jay rode his bicycle over to his friend Jim's house. When he finally got home, he'd forgotten something and left it sitting on Jim's kitchen counter.
So off he went back to Jim's, to get the item that he'd forgotten.
When my husband got home, he was all skinned up and his face a mess. And three of his front teeth are broken off! He turned into Jim's driveway and lost his balance, while peddling too fast.
Already, the swelling has gone down, but of course, he went face first into the cement. All he could do was clean up, put anti-biotic cream and band-aides on the skinned areas. Thank God, he has no broken bones:)
Today, he looks a lot better

Those scrapes are almost invisible. His teeth, they are still broken:(

@kobesbuddy He lucked out. He could've been hurt way worse and at least he made it to his friend's place when he took the spill. So, his guardian angel had his back.

It was a blessing, that his jaw, neck or back wasn't broke. No head injury, to cause a concussion.

His neck or back, or a concussion. Thank God, he didn't break any bones.

@kobesbuddy oh no chipped teeth, that is terrible. One of my boys chipped his teeth, every dentist that sees him says they were not done right and wants to redo them. His was a stupid little kid accident, he simply tripped on the sidewalk and chipped them. I told him he needed to make up some kinda cool story about chasing a robber or something

Already, his skin is healing up and his chipped teeth, they don't look bad at all.

Sounds painful to me! Better get to the dentist ASAP, he probably tore roots in his broken teeth.

Jay said the only lasting pain was in his lip. Also, where the skin was pealed off, it burned. We need to find a new dentist, ours retired.

He's almost as good as new, except for his two front teeth:( It's wonderful to hear from you, Jennifer! God is very good to his daughters:)

I'm so glad he didn't fracture his skull or end up with a concussion. Even a broken leg or arm, would have been terrible!

When he first got home, I panicked. Then I realized, he wasn't hurting as bad as I thought.
