You know, dear lotters, that my thoughts are centered on the selling of my house. And although I´m in no hurry, I have to clean up junk before I do anything. I should have done this a long time ago but it is never too late.
I have even thought that if the house can´t be sold for a good price that lets me buy a smaller house in the neighborhood I want and have some spare money to remodel it and to have a bit left, I might not even sell it. But in any circumstance, I have to get rid of junk. And also of nice things that my daughters are not interested in.
Today I´ll check some of the junk I have in the garage with Mario. He might be interested in part of it.
And when my brother came I asked him what do people do with old TVs and he knew where they are dumped. He then told me to put together all of those things and he could take them to the dumping place. It is a pity and a shame that those TVs are completly outdated and they serve no purpose. It is like the lots of vinyls I have that are part of my life.
The day is sunny and I got out early to sundry the clothes that were still a bit wet. Luna came to greet me and we played at a much earlier time. HAIL SPRING!!!

@marguicha I have a couple of pieces of furniture that are heritage pieces. Guess I am going to eventually just let them go.

Getting started on getting rid of stuff is a win win whether you sell or stay. It's nice that your brother will take those outdated tvs to the dump for you. Hope it all works out for you and you can move to a smaller place.

Figuring out what to do with stuff seems a very tough task sometimes.

I know. Nobody even wants my biggest furniture even though they are good and in perfect shape. Houses are now much smaller.

Vinyl records are very sought after in the US. People have started to listen to them again. I hope you have a good day.

I hate having to throw out perfectly good appliances but nobody wants them. There is such a lot of waste in the world.

It is tough to get rid of things which are of no use but have been part of our household for long. It is a sentimental thing. However, sell or dump the junk would be the best as the oudated things may not add any value. At some point of time, you would have to get ride of things. It is better to do it right away. In that way, you do not overwhelmed at the last minute with things to do and all. If there are things that others can use , you can have a yard sale and see if people are interested in those and rest you can dump. But it is good to start these moves now.
