This isn't our new car

We have a new-to-us car. It’s a Jaguar which is considered very upmarket here although they don’t really look as classy as they once did. Vince found a 10-year-old model, low miles, good price and was very keen to have a Jaguar so that’s what we’ve done.
The Kia Cerato that we had was only three years old and we more or less swapped it for the Jaguar. We paid an extra $800 for a 5-year warranty so all in all we’re happy with the deal. It has the same size motor and same fuel economy as the Cerato but is much more comfortable and very quiet. It has a few luxury touches as well.
All this information is just to have some text to put with this photo I took of a car I saw when we were chasing wildflowers. Why do you think I took a photo of it?

Thanks. It's quite low to get into so a little bit harder to get out of too.

Perhaps you took the photo as you liked the design of the car?
The Jaguar deal along with the 5 years warranty sounds good.
Is the Aussie government pushing for Electric vehicles adoption?

I took the photo because this particular car has eyelashes on its lights. I thought they looked cute. There are a lot of electric cars being sold now in Australia.

Because you found it unique and as others have commented probably because of those eye lashes?

Yes, that's correct. I hadn't seen eyelashes on a car before.

Yes, we did get a good swap. We won't need another car in our lifetime unless we get to the point where we can't get out of this one as it is rather low.

Congrats on the new car. Jaguar in the US pretty much fell out of favor, and most people here don't even get too wowed by them. Big names here in the "upmarket" are the Audis, Aston Martins, BMWs, Mercedes and things like that.
As for the car in the pic, I always think those eyelashes look ridiculous.

I know Jaguars don't hold their value at all well and some are now made in India I think? This was made somewhere decent but that's about all I know about it in that regard.
I've never seen eyelashes before. I wouldn't want them personally but thought they looked cute.
