We went out for breakfast, or brunch

After church we went in search of waffles. Not too many places make them anymore. We went to a franchise breakfast place called Jimmy's Egg. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. Before we left church we were talking with the worship leader. He recalled being in a restaurant once and the lady at the table next to him ordered a strawberry waffle. When it was served she complained that there were too many strawberries. My response hearing the story was she could just take some off, but she refused the meal. This eventually involved the manager. The final compromise was that they brought her waffle, and a small bowl of strawberries and told her to add them herself so she would be satisfied. It is rare that people complain about too much of something yummy, like strawberries. I surely would not. So this is my funny contribution for today. We should all smile more.
