A female deputy who is employed by the Stafford County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) in Stafford Virginia answered an emergency call from a resident in Stafford over the weekend. The name of the deputy was not released was able to rescue the hawk that entered the garage of the homeowner was able to capture the hawk and take the animal to the Blue Ridge Rehabilitation Wildlife Rescue to be cured of any injuries that the hawk may have sustained in the incident. I had a pigeon trapped in my garage for a few days, but I simply opened all the doors, and shewed it out with a broom. Birds can be dumb, and they are hard to move them where you want them to go, sometimes. I wonder if the resident tried to free the bird themselves first.

That is a good question if the homeowner tried to use a broom to shoo the hawk out or not.
