The plants I bought yesterday

The photo shows the plants I bought yesterday. I have planted them out yet but that might be today’s job although it’s been raining through the night and it’s still very overcast. We’re scheduled to have more rain through the day. I bought three pots of daisies, a punnet of small flowers (they might be alyssium) and a mandarin tree. We bought a big pot to put the mandarin in. The alyssium will go in the pockets on my living wall. The variegated plant on the left in the little blue pot was given to me by my sister-in-law. She dug it out of a bigger pot but it hasn’t looked back so far.

My wildflowers, apart from the poppies, didn't make an appearance. Better luck next year, I hope

Sorry about your wildflowers. Quite a few in the village have planted everlastings or straw flowers. They are much bigger and brighter than the wild everlastings we saw on our trip but I guess they're the same family.

@JudyEv There's another one they are monitoring. But I don't think it's going to come this way its way out in the water. But there's plenty of time for it to come this way, or even just disappear completely.

Those are some pretty plants I think they will look good in a nice area of the yard, are they the 1's that come back every year? if they are I'd plant them in a nice viewing spot in the front yard. I bought some plants this year & some I've planted & some I haven't gotten around to & it's a good thing I haven't planted them cause with my dogs passing away on me like they are I would have had to pull them all back up in the back yard.

I'm sorry you lost your dogs. I'm putting these in pots. I think they should last a few years. I'll have to read up about them.

Beautiful flowers. I was not lucky with a mandarin tree. I had to know better that our winters are too cold.

A mandarin is very like an orange but doesn't grow as big. I think keeping it in a pot will restrict its growth somewhat.

You could have added the photos from your vertical garden. Good to see you are adding a variety of things to your garden. I am not aware of mandarin tree and need to search on that . It is known in this part of the world or perhaps known witha different name .Others yes and well one suggestion I had was to explore garden websites and blogs and videos. Reason is, perhaps you could something interesting or you could get some innovative ideas around garden. I am sure you would be thinking and would be discussing with near and dear ones. I am hopeful to see a great garden in 6 months- 1 year time. Enjoy the weekend!

I'll add a photo here of my vertical garden. I have six more plants to put in it perhaps today. There are a great many videos and websites with helpful information.
