10/9/24 - Update On My Husband

He didn't call last night.
His 2nd cousin and I have been discussing the best way to get him into the house. The handrail guy still hasn't added the railings on the lower steps; so the best way is having him come in through the garage and navigating the 3 steps into the house. Once he is in the house I will feel much better.
His 2nd cousin picked up the medical and physical therapy records for the appeal. It's a stack 4" high. At least we will have more time to file. She will be coming over on Thursday to work on my to-do list and to move things out of the way that could hamper my husband's navigation with the walker.

I hope he can manage to get out of his recliner without help. The cousin/ housekeeper can't be there all the time.

I know. It's a concern. We can't have a home health aide here 24/7 either.

@LindaOHio Things will work it's self out it's just going to take some time
for everything to fall into place, They wanted to have a home nurse here
for me & I told them I don't have the space to have a extra person to
be here, we'll work without 1, just give me a few mons to get it done.

I sure wish you all the luck you can get with him coming home
it's going to take some time to get in a routine of him being home
after a long streak of him being in the hosp-rehab, lots of

@2ndchances24 His 2nd cousin came today and worked on my to-do list and moved things around so he can maneuver with a walker.

Yup. He is unsteady on his feet. I can't believe he's the same man that I knew in February. He's changed so much.
