It should be an easy week

No school today, so I am home. Wednesday I am taking a paid day off to go with Bob to a medical appointment. So only three work days this week.
For the next two Saturdays we are having all day Bible School at the Church. I am in charge of crafts, so today I will do prep work.
I need to get next week's music selected for church.
We will shop today since we can do it during the day while others are at work. School is not out in the town where we shop.
It has turned chilly and I need to get the rest of my plants inside.

I brought all my house plants in last week. All except a couple geraniums I planted in the garden... may or may not dig them up and pot them. I pulled most of my gladiolas (left some 'babies') and I still have to pull the one surviving dahlia.
There's no school here today either, because it's our thanksgiving.

Here it is Christopher Columbus Day/Indigienous People Day, but the teachers will have training. Same thing happens in January for Martin Luther King Day.

I will be doing "messy crafts" with the kids. I will let them make anything they choose. we will paint them the second Saturday. We will do splatter painting and some stuff like that.

I did not explain. I will let them make anything they choose out of air dry clay. My grandkids loved it when I brought it for them to create with. It is a home made clay. We will do some various kinds of painting as well. I hope to have everyone make a handprint on a souvenir table cloth for the church as well.

We only have three kids in our church. We promoted on Facebook and had no interest in the summer. The church is kind of rural. So we "sweetened the pot" by making it all day for two Saturdays. It is the same four session program. At least ten have signed up online.

It's beautiful here, highs in the 60s lows in the mid 30s to low 40s.
