Today is the day of the writer's group/ Halloween party. I have been looking forward to this. I am bringing some treats and decorations. I don't have a costume per se, but I am going to wear a witch hat , carry a broom, and will have a Halloween shirt on. I am thinking of using mascara to put some black streaks going down my cheeks. I will do it, as long as it doesn't look stupid. I hope somebody brings something to drink besides the cocoa packets..
. Looking outside I finally see some red leaves, Good, because the one near the house the leaves turned yellow for a day or two then turned brown and fell off..How is your leaf color?

Thanks, We haven't had enough rain so there is not a lot of good leaf color in the area. We are still a bit away from peak though. I did see some nice ones the other day though. I was tempted to take a pic.

@LadyDuck unfortunately, we haven't had rain so most of the leaves are turning brown.

I don't have Halloween groups.Even Christians living herd never celebrate it.I celebrate Christmas with my Christian friends.

Nice we aren't really at peak leaf color yet, but are getting there. Not a whole lot of color out there as it has been so dry, but some trees still look nice.

Your party sounds like fun and hope you have a good time.
Our leaves are changing color and if I drive around the countryside it's pretty. Up in the mountains where my son lives is beautiful.

There are some nice leaves around, but not right with my surroundings trees much.
. cocoa is good but i hope they will bring something else as well

Yeah, I haven't seen many red leaves either this fall. I hope the Halloween party will be fun and you won't be too thirsty. 
Nice you're bringing decorations as well, and the costume sounds fine to me. Not sure if there's something such as stupid makeup for Halloween, the messier it looks the better it is, I guess.
